Smoothies are great way to add healthy ngredients to our diet. They are easy to make and yet so delicious. Smoothies are packed with high amount of vitamins. For me they are the best way to start the day in healthy way. They are helpful in both way - increase weight or loss weight! Smoothies are preferable to all kind of age group. You can give your child green veggies by blending with his/her favorite fruits which he probably wont eat through meal.
In this post I will tell you easy and simple ways to make delicious smoothies at home with less efforts. This recipes are not only delicious but also healthy for your body. You can take this daily or twice/thrice in a week also works best. If you are working women you can make a bottle of smoothie can carry it with you in a office. It is always better option for Coffee! If you are not so fond of drinking fruits or veggies, try using cute jars or other containers. It will work definitely in some content for sure.

1. STRAWBERRY-BANANA SMOOTHIE- This is the best combination to start your day with. With only 3 Ingredients you can make the delicious drink which will tone your rest of the day. I like my smoothies which contains less ingredient but full of vitamins and nutrients.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Sliced Banana
- 5-6 Strawberries
- 1 1/2 cup of milk
How to make -
- Take 1 banana, you can take bananas according to quantity. I have told amount of 1 glass smoothie, just doubled the amount !
- Wash your berries. You can substitute Strawberries with Blueberry also.
- Take 1 and half cup of milk .Here you can use dairy milk or Almond, Walnut milk also.
- If you want it sweet but also healthy Add 1 tbsp honey to it instead sugar.
- Now Blend it all and your drink is ready to take !
Note - Chilled smoothie always taste better. But adding ice makes it consistency thinner. So use chilled milk instead of normal. You can use frozen fruits too.
2. DETOX SPINACH SMOOTHIE - It is a great way to detox your body by drinking green. But many of us find it hard to take green veggies. Why not make it tasty and detox your body? This drink will help to make your skin look glowing in a week!
INGREDIENTS -
- Some Spinach leaves
- Half chopped Apple
- 1 tbsp Honey
- half tbsp cumin seeds
- Water according to consistency
How to make -- Put some chopped spinach leaves in blender
- Add sliced Apple, you can use Green apple also
- Add honey according to your taste. I take 1 tbsp because apple is already sweet
- Add water to maintain consistency. Don't add so much water too it will become watery
- Add cumin powder or seeds (only little amount)
- And finally blend all the ingredients .
Your super healthy and morning drink is ready with less efforts.
3. NUTELLA-BANANA SMOOTHIE- This super tasty and one of my favorite combination of smoothie. It is a great drink when you are craving for something chocolaty yet mixed with fruit. It is also yummy drink for your children. There is no harm for having chocolate once in a while! I prefer this drink in the evening when i want to have a relaxed and pampered day routine and it works magical.
INGREDIENTS -
- 1 Banana
- spoonful of Nutella
- Cup of milk
How to make -
- Take 1 banana and slice it and put in blender
- Add spoon of Nutella
- finally Add cup of milk
- Blend the ingredients to get super chocolaty smoothie
Note- If you don't have Nutella you can substitute it with any Chocolate Syrup .I prefer Hershey'sYou can also use any dark chocolate if you are calorie cautious. You have also an option of Cocoa Powder !
4. PINEAPPLE SMOOTHIE- This is another way to intake Pineapple. Mostly we find us difficult eating Pineapples because it gives that weird itchy feel in mouth. Adding it through smoothie will definitely solve that problem. Pineapple is rich source of Vitamin C and hence so good for our health.
It is very beneficial to improve Immune System.
INGREDIENTS-
- Sliced Pineapple cubes
- Frozen Banana
- Honey
- Cup of Milk
- Vanilla (optional)
HOW TO MAKE-1) Take small Cubes of Pineapple and put them in blender
2) Add 1 frozen banana into it
3) Add honey as per requirement (add more because pineapple & banana are not sweet)
4) Add cup of milk to make thick mixture
5) You can add little vanilla essence for taste
6) Blend all them together
